I heard a sly voice. I heard the wind blow and a whisper. I looked up. I saw nothing. I looked around the room. I still saw nothing. It was alarming and I was scared. Then I saw a fiery light flash. It looked like a pool of fire. I was very scared. Then a baby dragon appeared out of the darkness. Aha! That was the noise!

One night I heard a whisper and no-one was there. Then I realised that it was the tooth fairy. I heard her whispering to me. In the morning I asked, “Where is the tooth fairy?” and my mum didn’t know. The next night the tooth fairy came back. She told me that her house looked fantastic and what colour it was. And then she never came back. I like the tooth fairy. She is my friend now.

One night I was sleeping in my bed and I heard a whisper but it was too dark to see what it was. Then it turned into a purring sound. Then Dad came in and said, “Happy Birthday.” “Why are you so late for my birthday Dad?” I said. “I am sorry to tell you this but I am going to a different country because I accidentally pressed something on the computer.” “Are you coming back Dad?” “I don’t know love.” “When are you going?” “Tomorrow,” said Dad. “Oooh. Can you change it back?” I said. “No sorry.” “Dad what is this thing?” “It’s a new cat. I know you’ve always wanted a cat.” “Oh yes. I have wanted a cat. What’s its name Dad?” “You can choose,” Dad said. “Yay. Hmmm I think Tospy.” “Great choice lovely.” The next day was my birthday and the day for Dad to go. When it was time for Dad to go Mum asked if I wanted to stay home or go to drop Dad off. “Drop Dad off please,” I said. “Okay love.” When it had been nine days Mum had a surprise for me and …Boo! Suddenly Dad came out from behind the curtains and I jumped up into his arms. “I missed you so much,” I said. “I did too,” Dad said. Then I remembered I had a surprise for him. “Come with me Dad.” When we got to Topsy I said, “Open your eyes.” When he did he saw Topsy lying on her bed with little twin kittens. Dad was so happy he wanted to celebrate.

Once upon a time I heard something so I went outside but no-one was there. Then I went back inside and Dad wasn’t there so I went outside and I tried to find Dad. Then I got lost. It was now dark. I now knew what made the noise. The noise was the wind. Then I looked at the moon and the stars. The stars twinkled and then I saw Dad. It was good to be back home. Then I heard it again. It was blowing in the breeze. Dad called me to get in bed. He tucked me in bed and I still heard the wind.
